Material & Construction

Crafted from lightweight, moisture-wicking stretch fabric, the 2nd Skin Balaclava delivers a smooth, second-skin feel that’s breathable and fast-drying. The four-way stretch construction offers all-day comfort while keeping bulk to a minimum under the helmet.

Odour control

The hydrophobic yarns wick away sweat as soon as it forms, keeping you dry and comfortable through long rides. Treated with Polygiene anti-odour tech, it prevents bacterial build-up and stays fresher for longer – ideal for multi-day trips or everyday commutes.

Comfort & Fit

Designed with a contoured FocusFit profile, the balaclava follows the shape of your face and neck without creases or pressure points. Flat-lock seams prevent chafing, while the snug stretch fit ensures it stays in place through helmet changes and hours in the saddle.

Quick dry

Engineered for hot-weather riding, the fabric actively wicks away sweat and dries fast, making it perfect for Indian summers and humid coastal routes. The breathable weave keeps you cool under your lid, even in stop-go traffic or mid-day rides.

Things to Remember

1. The balaclava is designed for a snug, second-skin fit – this ensures it stays in place under your helmet without bunching or causing pressure points.
2. Wear it a few times to let the stretch panels adjust to your head shape and riding posture. It’ll feel more natural with each use.
3. Always clean it after rides to prevent sweat buildup and odour. Store flat or rolled and avoid storing it damp to preserve the fabric’s breathability and elasticity.

Wash, care and storage

1. Wash separately in cold water before first use.
2. Always turn the balaclava inside out before washing to preserve the outer fabric and stitching.
3. Hand wash using mild detergent and cold water – avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can reduce stretch and breathability.
4. If there are stains which you are not able to remove using a damp cloth, use a soft bristled brush soaked in a mild pH neutral soap and rinse off using cold water. Please note that using the brush could lead to piling which will not be covered under warranty.
5. Let it air dry flat in the shade; avoid wringing, tumble drying, or exposing it to direct heat.
6. Store flat or rolled in a clean, dry place to prevent the fabric from stretching out or picking up lint.
7. Dry-cleaning or using a clothes dryers will void the warranty as this will damage the special coatings that the fabric has.
